San Jose city transfers and SJC flights are separate requests

Clarify whether San Jose means a hotel, an office, a home or San José Mineta International Airport. For a city arrival, include the building and guest entrance. For a flight connection, give both flight numbers and the time you need to be at the second airport. The ground journey does not include airline check-in, baggage acceptance or security, so an airport connection needs those steps considered alongside the road transfer.

If you arrive internationally at SFO, immigration, customs and baggage collection come before departure by car. Ask for the waiting arrangement in writing and update dispatch when your party is ready. SFO does not permit vehicles to wait at the terminal curb; the chauffeur's approach should be coordinated with your actual exit rather than only the scheduled aircraft arrival.

Coordinate the longer itinerary before travel

State any stop in Palo Alto, Mountain View or another Peninsula city as part of the route request. A lunch, equipment collection or colleague pickup changes the journey from a direct transfer. List the order and identify which times are fixed. If you want the vehicle available during appointments, request an hourly plan with the waiting period clearly included.

For a return from San Jose, use the final collection address and a mobile contact who will be with the passengers. Tell us about checked bags, large cases or multiple collection points. The regional 511 map provides current road and traffic information; use it close to departure without treating a clear-road estimate as a guaranteed duration. If your return is from SJC instead, book that airport explicitly and follow SJC's own pickup instructions, which differ from SFO's terminal arrangements.
