SFO Car Service Rates

What a chauffeured ride from San Francisco International costs, how the quote is built, and how pickup works at the terminals.

SFO transfer pricing

Every SFO transfer is quoted to the itinerary you send, then confirmed in writing before you book. Point-to-point transfers start from $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. Where your route, hour or luggage load adds cost, the quote says so up front.

Hourly hire from SFO

For a day of meetings, a roadshow or a wine country trip, hourly as-directed service often makes more sense than a string of single transfers. There is a three-hour minimum, and the car and chauffeur stay with you for the whole booking.

VehicleHourly3-hour minimum
Executive Sedan$120/hr$360
Premium SUV$150/hr$450
Mercedes S-ClassFrom $230/hrFrom $690
Sprinter VanFrom $240/hrFrom $720

Sedan and SUV hourly figures include gratuity and applicable service and card charges. S-Class and Sprinter figures are starting rates; the booking form confirms the final price. Confirm the final total and any airport access, tolls, parking or other extras in your written quote. See the fleet for seating and luggage.

SFO pickup logistics

These points come from SFO's own pages. The airport says curbsides are for active passenger pick up and drop off only, and that vehicles are not allowed to wait at the terminal curb or on airport roadways. Unattended vehicles at the curb can be fined. Arriving passengers cannot be met at the gate for security reasons, so the plan is to meet after you leave the secure area.

SFO lists suggested meeting points by terminal on its Meeting Points page. Terminal 1 has seating near the B Gate exits, and C Gate passengers can use the signed meeting point on the Departures/Ticketing Level. Terminal 2 D Gate passengers use the signed meeting point on the Departures/Ticketing Level. Terminal 3 passengers can meet between Baggage Carousels 3 and 4 on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level. In the International Terminal, the signed meeting point is in the Arrivals Level lobby at the US Customs and Immigration exit.

SFO's pickup guidance says the arriving passenger must be ready outside the terminal before a curbside vehicle approaches. Confirm the reserved vehicle's meeting arrangement with the coordinator instead of assuming a public waiting area establishes the commercial pickup plan. Give us your airline, flight number and terminal if you know it, and a mobile number that works when you land. Details are on the SFO pick up and drop off page.

Flights are tracked from departure, so pickup follows the actual landing. Our SFO pickup guide, the SFO airport page and the SFO, OAK and SJC comparison go further.

SFO rate questions

What is the lowest SFO transfer price?

Transfers start from $130 for a sedan and $160 for an SUV. The written quote confirms the final price for your exact route and timing.

Why is there no single price per destination?

Price depends on pickup point, destination, time of day, passenger count, luggage, tolls and any waiting, so each trip is quoted to the itinerary you send. That keeps the quote accurate instead of a rounded guess.

Can I book an SFO transfer by the hour instead?

Yes. Hourly as-directed service has a three-hour minimum and suits multi-stop days. Rates are on this page.

Is gratuity included?

Published sedan and SUV hourly figures include gratuity and applicable service and card charges. S-Class and Sprinter figures are starting rates; the booking form confirms the final price. Your quote confirms the final total and any airport access, tolls, parking or other extras.

Where will my chauffeur meet me at SFO?

SFO does not allow vehicles to wait at the terminal curb, and passengers cannot be met at the gate. Your chauffeur coordinates a meeting point or curb pickup with you after you collect your bags. The airport publishes signed meeting points for each terminal.

Do you track my flight?

Yes. Arrival pickups follow the actual landing time, so delays move the pickup with them.
